In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Translation of the Hilye text:

“When Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) described the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: 'His height was neither too short nor too tall. He was of medium stature. His hair was neither short and curly nor straight; it was between the two. His face was round, his complexion was a clear white, his eyes were large and black, and his eyelashes were long. He had large bones and broad shoulders. His chest was hairless from the center to the stomach. His palms and feet were full-fleshed and firm, not flat. When he walked, it was as if he descended from a slope, walking with ease. When he looked to his right or left, he would turn his whole body. Between his two shoulders was the seal of prophethood, a sign that he was the last of the prophets. He was the most generous-hearted of people, the most gentle in disposition, and the most sociable. Those who saw him unexpectedly were struck by awe, but those who became familiar with him through companionship loved him more than anything. Anyone who tried to describe his virtues and beauty would find themselves saying, “I have never seen anyone like him, neither before nor after!” This is how Hazrat Ali (may Allah honor his face) described the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Ali Hüsrevoğlu wrote this to seek his intercession.'

The ayah written in the lower section:

“We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds.” (Al-Anbiya/107)

Names of the Rightly Guided Caliphs in the corners:

Abu Bakr As-Siddiq: May Allah be pleased with him.

Umar Al-Farooq: May Allah be pleased with him.

Uthman Dhu al-Nurayn: May Allah be pleased with him.

Ali Karramallahu Wajhah: May Allah be pleased with him.

Calligraphy: Ali Hüsrevoğlu
