Meaning: This aphorism, summarizing the journey of spiritual purification in three words, can be interpreted as follows:

    The person embarking on the spiritual path must first remove the love of the world from their heart and detach from bonds that tie them to anything other than Allah. They should spend a period in seclusion to achieve inner purification. This phase is called "tehallî". Solitude and seclusion hold significant importance in the lives of all prophets and great saints.

    Afterward begins the period of adorning oneself with the morals of Allah and the prophets. A person who aligns their dealings with Allah, people, and themselves correctly continues to beautify themselves constantly. This is known as "Tehallî". The saying, "My Lord has educated me and perfected my education," expresses this.

    Following this is the period of "Tecelli". Just as a person shares their beauty only with their loved ones, Allah shares numerous subtleties and beauties—hidden both internally and externally—with these chosen servants who have purified themselves. The prayer of our Prophet, "O my Lord, show me the true nature of things," expresses this. Such individuals are freed from dilemmas and errors, knowing the true essence of things.
