FIRST FIVE AYAHS OF SURAT AL-ALAQ

Info: The first revelation to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was these ayahs in the Hira Cave.

Arabic Script: ا‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍‍رَ‌أْ‌ بِاسْمِ ‌‍رَبِّكَ ‌الَّذِي خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ خَ‍‍لَ‍قَ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عَلَ‍‍قٍ ا‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍‍رَ‌أْ وَ‌‍رَبُّكَ ‌الأَكْ‍رَمُ ‌الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِ‌الْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍لَمِ عَلَّمَ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانَ مَا‌ لَمْ يَعْلَمْ

Transliteration:

 Aqra' Biāsmi Rabbika Al-Ladhī Khalaqa (Al-`Alaq: 1)

Khalaqa Al-'Insāna Min `Alaqin (Al-`Alaq: 2).

Aqra' Wa Rabbuka Al-'Akramu (Al-`Alaq: 3).

Al-Ladhī `Allama Bil-Qalami (Al-`Alaq: 4)

`Allama Al-'Insāna Mā Lam Ya`lam (Al-`Alaq: 5).

Translation:

001 Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, who created-

002 Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood:

003 Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful, -

004 He Who taught (the use of) the pen, -

005 Taught man that which he knew not.
