HILYAH OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH)

This hilyah describes the characteristics of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) directly from Allah, with references to the Quranic verses where Allah mentions him.

The upper part of the Hilye-i Şerif features the Basmala (In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful) and a miniature of the Prophet's Mosque (Mescid-i Nebevî). Below this, in the center of a circle, there is a miniature of the Kaaba surrounded by twenty-eight Ayet-i Celîle (noble verses) that begin with "Huve" (He), referring to Allah.

At the four corners of this circle, eight of Allah's beautiful names are written. Moving downwards from the center, Ayah 26 from Surah Al-Imran is inscribed in elegant Diwani script.
