Surat Al-Fatiha

Arabic Script:

1. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ‎

2. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ‎

3. الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ‎

4. مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ‎

5. إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ‎

6. اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ‎

7. صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ‎


Transliteration:

1 (Bismillāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm)

2 (Al ḥamdu lillāhi rabbi l-’ālamīn)

3 (Ar raḥmāni r-raḥīm)

4 (Māliki yawmi d-dīn)

5 (Iyyāka na’budu wa iyyāka nasta’īn)

6 (Ihdinā ṣ-ṣirāṭ al-mustaqīm)

7 (Ṣirāṭ al lazi na an’amta ‘alayhim, ġayril maġḍūbi ‘alayhim walāḍ ḍāllīn)

Translation:

1 In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

2 Praise be to God, The Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds;

3 Most Gracious, Most Merciful;

4 Master of the Day of Judgment.

5 Thee do we worship, And Thine aid we seek.

6 Show us the straight way,

7 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowedd Thy Grace, Those whose (portion) Is not wrath, And who go not astray

1-    أَلِف-لَام-مِيم

2-    ذَلِكَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابُ لاَ ‍‍‍رَيْ‍‍بَ ۛ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ۛ هُ‍‍د‌ىً لِلْمُتَّ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ

3-    ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِ‌الْ‍‍‍‍غَ‍‍‍يْ‍‍بِ ‌وَيُ‍‍قِ‍‍يم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَةَ ‌وَمِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا ‍رَ‌زَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَاهُمْ يُ‍‌‍ن‍‍فِ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ

4-    وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِمَ‍‍ا أُ‌نْ‍‍زِلَ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ‌وَمَ‍‍ا أُ‌نْ‍‍زِلَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍‍بْ‍‍لِكَ ‌وَبِالآ‍‍خِ‍‍رَةِ هُمْ يُوقِ‍‍نُونَ

5-    أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ عَلَى‌ هُ‍‍د‌ىً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍‍‍رَبِّهِمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْمُفْلِحُونَ

Transliteration:

1-    'Alif-Lām-Mīm

2-    Dhālika Al-Kitābu Lā Rayba ۛ Fīhi ۛ Hudan Lilmuttaqīna

3-    Al-Ladhīna Yu'uminūna Bil-Ghaybi Wa Yuqīmūna Aş-Şalāata Wa Mimmā Razaqnāhum Yunfiqūna

4-    Wa Al-Ladhīna Yu'uminūna Bimā 'Unzila 'Ilayka Wa Mā 'Unzila Min Qablika Wa Bil-'Ākhirati Hum Yūqinūna

5-    Ūlā'ika `Alá Hudan Min Rabbihim ۖ Wa 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Mufliĥūna

Translation:

1 - A.L.M.

2 - This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear God;

3 - Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them;

4 - And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter.

5 - They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper.
